Wengar Unhappy With Sanchez
The Chilean attacker Alexis Sanchez earlier in the month of July completed his move from Barcelona to Arsenal with the Premier League club having to pay around €30 million in order to secure his services. However, things are going exactly as planned for the coach of Arsenal Arsene Wenger as he is displeased by the fact that his latest signing will not be able to train with his new team.
The Premier League is only a few weeks away from beginning which means that managers will have a short pre-season and not much time to prepare for the upcoming season and this is what is happening with Arsenal.
Alexis Sanchez is not able to train with his new club and teammates as he has to travel to Paris to get a visa and he will be missing out from intensive training that Arsene Wenger is implementing with Arsenal.
Wenger expressed his dissatisfaction involving some of his recent incidents as he spoke to the media: “I don’t think Sanchez will come to Austria because he has to go to Paris to get a visa, so he will only go to London Colney on Tuesday and we come back on Thursday, so he will work in London. The real work starts now and then the Emirates Cup this weekend. The problem is our pre-season will be very short; these post World Cup years are a nightmare for us because we have no preparation.”
Arsenal made a genuine charge for the Premier League during the previous season but a series of consistent injuries forced some of the key players in the squad of Arsene Wenger to be out for a significantly long period of time but now with the arrival of Alexis Sanchez and a few other players to the team, Wenger has the chance of lifting the Premier League with Arsenal which is something that the French tactician has not accomplished since 2003.
